Decarla
Decarla started her musical career singing gospel.
She moved on to blues and soul & now sings her
own brand of R & B.
Bubbly & infectious as a solo singer or as a backing singer.

Dan "The Man" Smith
SPI-ONE's resident guitarist is also affectionately known as “Da Bush Man”
An arranger and songwriter he began his musical career at an early age,
performing on many sessions and gigs.
His influences includes Jimi Hendrix, John Mclaughlin,“Mississippi”
Fred McDowell & John Coltrane.

Laverne
The SPI-ONE resident vocalist is a talented songwriter/performer.
Rooted in gospel & totally dedicated to soul and funk,
she has worked with many soul bands as a solo & backing singer.

Aaron-Lee
SPI-ONE's resident drummer. The pulse of the show. Timing, taste &
a cool cowboy hat give "The man at the back" his special place in the SPI-ONE show.
Aaron-Lee honed his skills under the tutelage of Colin Woolway, one of the countrys leading
drummers. At a young age he already has a wealth of session & live experience.

Michele
aka Unique, started singing at an early age. Now a SPI- ONE featured vocalist.
Versatile, captivating, an experienced solo & backing singer.

Karen
Sultry songstress Karen, the SPI-ONE resident vocalist has her roots in gospel.
She has now turned her talents to modern soul sounds & also features as one of
our backing vocalists.

John Ahwai
SPI-ONE's resident bass guitarist, influenced by Stanley Clark, James Jamerson and
Anthony Jackson.Rhythmic & melodic he has worked with many jazz, jazz-rock, soul,
and funk bands.
